I forgot how much fun Halloween is with kids. Holiday activities with my nephew and niece included a neighborhood parade, jack-o-lanterns and trick-or-treating (first time doing it city-style at local businesses). Lots of fun. Ratatouille costume with my 7 mo. old niece. Kai’s awesome orange stegosaurus costume (specifically requested), handmade by my sister.

Today marks exactly 3 months since I shattered my kneecap from a stumble back in London on my way to Sweden. Remarkably I still made my train and flight to Stockholm with a busted leg. I spent my first few days in a Swedish ER where I was told I would need surgery. Thanks to
