Knee Update

After 12 weeks of physical therapy to get my range of motion back, I’m still only about 50% of what I should be at.  Since my “window” of recovery is out of time, I’ll be going in for another procedure (1 hour from now in fact) called a manipulation. I’ve been told it will set my ROM recovery back to zero, which is discouraging. Hopefully it will help in the long run and this will all be over someday. More updates later.

Post-op update: Success! No injuries from the procedure and my surgeon was able to get my full range back. I’ll begin post-op physical therapy first thing tomorrow to make sure it heals correctly and I maintain my ROM from the procedure. Feeling hopeful for a full recovery this time. Going to celebrate with a new episode of Steven Universe and 85 degree choco buns 😀
